CC CC was adopted from a local shelter in Rochester, NY on August 11, 2010. I had never owned a pit-bull but was willing to give this adorable dog a chance. After meeting her I feel in love instantly (and so has everyone else who has met her thus far). After bringing my girlfriends dog, a chocolate lab, to meet her at the shelter, I realized she has a limp on her left leg. The staff informed me that it was just from being in her crate or a mild sprain. Come to find out after we took her for her check up at a vet, she had a torn ACL. The surgery is costly but we got through it. While recovering from the first surgery, she tore that right ACL, which already had a partial tear to begin with. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to help and give this adorable pit-bull a chance at a better life. Thank you so much for helping with the cost of the second surgery! This dog means the world to us!
